Kelly has been the object of ridicule on this board since he beat JT. AA is in no position to DEMAND an immediate fight. Tell him to stay away from donuts and fight better opponents to make the general public want the fight. Not just a couple of dozen people on internet sites that always swear they won't pay to watch it anyhow.

Well, no use discussing this with you. You are the boxing god of knowledge in your own mind I guess. Have fun with your deity complex. I have better things to do.

I doubt I'll ever be in a position to tell him anything.

And didn't you use that line earlier ?

And then didn't you backtrack and say you were just having fun ?

    Weak retort.
Show me any post that would indicate I felt myself to be "...he boxing god of knowledge" or any post that would indicate a deity complex.

I suppose that's easier than actually answering any of the points made in post #89.

    Sorry to disappoint, analyst.

    But a mere mortal.

(If you really thought that, wouldn't you have capitalized the 'g' ?)

Hope this one gets made sometime this year.

You're right, Pav is scared of AA. Pav fought JT & Hopkins, but he fears AA. :patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch

he would rather wait for cotto or berto to move up rather than fighting AA..

too bad for AA, big decision for him...should he move up or hope PW would fight him...there is no way Pav would want a piece of him

Over 1900 posts and you haven't said anything smart!
Sometimes I wonder if you're just trying to be funny or if you're being serious.

Warren and Arum had one reported conversation at a time when Warren had no contract to promote Calzaghe. The 'reports' that you won't scour the internet for described the conversation as 'productive', but with no such figures involved. I recall that you have failed to provide any evidence for your recollection in the past.

I still see no explanation for where Arum would get 10 million for Calzaghe whereas he could only offer 1.5 million to Paul Williams at the same time (a figure which Arum described as 'ludicrously high' in addition) and Hopkins only got paid 3 million for fighting Pavlik.

Calzaghe cleared $10 million from fighting Jones (a fight which had about 50% more PPV buys in the states than Hopkins v Pavlik iirc) which was all for himself as he no longer had Warren taking his considerable slice, so that clearly was a bigger money fight for him than Pavlik even if your made up offer were correct.

Aren't you that guy that is riding the nuts of virtually every american fighter? At the time of the B-Hop fight, everybody assumed the old man was shot, they even speculated about a KO. Taylor is stylistically an easier fight for KP than AA would be. They fought everybody back then, before KP was exposed by B-Hop. Now Arum is scared because a loss at 160 would make it very tough for KP to come back. As seen, the extra weight at 168 causes him problems. The fight will not happen. Arum will sweat it out and AA has to move up in weight.

Calzaghe said in his autobiography that he never wanted to fight RJJ, that he was old, past it, not a credible opponent etc.

And then he ran from Pavlik and fought him. I'm not saying he should have fought Pavlik, but the facts are there.
