This is the big question between some of my friends that love boxing like me. Do people still think Cotto punch harder than Mosley? When this topic came up last year on here, most people said Cotto was a harder puncher. I said Mosley then, and I'm still saying it now. Cotto landed a lot of clean shots to Margo, but Margo was never hurt and kept coming. Mosley landed some clean shots on Margo and hurt him a few times before KOing him. So who do u think is the stronger puncher?
Difficult to say. I'll still take Cotto's body shots over Mosley's, but Mosley going to the head was ****ing ruthless against Margarito. So, Cotto can break ribs while Mosley can break chins.
Mosley has more power he have a 75% KO ratio, Their is no comparison, Mosley can take you out with one upper cut, Cotto has to connect a high volume of power punches to you he will normally go to your body which can be easily broken down, but Cotto does have plenty of power though!!!
Mosley hits harder IMO...Cotto wears his people down and makes them quit...Judah, Urkal, Gomez, etc!!!
easy, cotto threw the kitchen sink at the guy and couldnt hurt him. mosley couldnt NOT hurt him. seems an easy question if you ask me.
Mosley is the hardest puncher at WW. Cotto is very close behind Mosley but Mosley just has concussive power.
IMO Mosley have a bit more power than Cotto at WW, he loses a lot of power when he goes to 154... but anyways he hit harder than Cotto IMO
Just about the same . . . Cotto uses a lot of body punches that makes opponents quit . . . Mosley uses head shots. If Cotto's body punches were converted to head shots . . . results would be just the same as Mosley's head shots.
Margarito didn't show he was hurt with Mosley until later. If Cotto had Margarito backing up and hitting him at will I bet Margo wouldn't have gone 5 rounds. Cotto punches harder.. Mosley is physically stronger though. Sounds funny I know.
