No Hagler Vs Mugabi both pissed blood after the fight  Macklin vs Moore was a good back and forth war
I don’t know if someone has mentioned this one already, but for an old fashioned toe-to-toe slugfest you’ll be hard-pushed to beat Aaron Pryor v Alexis Arguello (1st fight - 1982). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FPJ9A1Ghxo A truly great fight. 1982 also produced another astonishing fight, that being Bobby Chacon v Bazooka Limon (4th fight). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2yegmQ2fGs&feature=related As for someone getting beat up real good then I like the Julio Cesar Chavez v Edwin Rosario fight (1987) as a fine example of someone (Chavez) putting on an absolute masterclass of pure, unadulterated punishment from start to finish. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIzYooqdXI4
joint 1st place Gatti v Ward Ali v Frasier 3 Hagler v Mugabe (the reason Hagler looked so bad in srl fight) Benn v McClennen Eubank v Watson Foreman v Lyle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96KfeAFakak
oh man there's so many, esp from the old school. chacon-limon 4 comes to mind, it's 15 rounds of pure mayhem. derrick jefferson vs. maurice harris is a must see that has back and forth knockdowns with brutal ending. gotta mention the valentine's day massacre, ward-gattiI, barrera-morales I, foreman-lyle, mercer-morrison, holt-torres 2, casa-katsidis, zale-graziano 3, holyfield-qawi, and so many more. mancini-frias, trinidad-campas, pryor-arguello, and sanchez-nelson must also be mentioned
I can't believe no one has mentioned Prince Charles Williams vs. Merqui Sosa. Heck, that fight was stopped due to the brutality of it.
Wasn't that the fight where the ringside officials stopped the fight somewhere around round 6 and rule it a draw because both fighters had received so much punishment?
