oh maybe im getting confused here as it is late and it could have been a dream afetrwards or something

anyway its pretty decent commentating anyway.

i remember Pacquiao-Marquez 2 was the 'colonel' Bob Sheridan or soemthing like taht and he was god awful

why does Top Rank have there own commentaters and that heard there doing that alot know and selling their show with commentaters to networks to make more cash

 

I'd guess that way they can just sell the fight as a "finished article", theres no need for the buying channel to send anybody over to cover the fight.

Yep, Colonel Bob is an idiot!!! He also did Haye-Mormeck IIRC.

 

That was really strange wasn't it? It took a couple of slip ups by Richie before I realized he didn't know who the guy was, I was pretty shocked TBH.

 

what annoys me most about the colonel is he does it by himself and likes the sound of his own voice

i like the commentaters who can break down fighters real well and give good detailed anaylisis but dont speak too much and also throw in afew facts about the fighters

like Hopkins, Hagler, Merchant, Atlas, Lampley, Gutteridge, Carpenter, Foreman, RJJ, Mancini, hernandez

also Lederman is the worst judge i have ver seen why does he score for HBO he couldnt score in a brothel

also colonel bob did do the haye mormeck fight

woodhall is quite a good commentater he can break down a fighter reasonably well and doesnt like to talk too much

but it hink Bunce should do setanats commentary from the studio

It's always been Top Rank Commentators who aren't the greatest and for the most part just annoy the **** out of me. Farhood and Bernstein are OK but I'd rather have Merchant and Lampley any day, Kellerman is beyond irritating though and seems to have too many agendas, Big Buggy eyes and talks really slow and condescending.

Woodhall is very good i like his analysis. I'd let him off if forgets a few fighters names as his main strength is more his Technical views which are spot on on most occasions.
My Dream Team would be Lampley/Mechant/Woodhall.

 

i remember the fight but i cant remember woodhalls commentery cheers for the reminder. buncey would give a good insight IMO
