Adamek would better serve his own interests staying at Cruiser and trying to rack up as many title defenses as possible.
I wish he would stay at CW and dominate there. He's on the verge of making a real name for himself. He almost had it in the LHW division until Dawson trumped him. I'd say stay in CW, unify, then maybe move up. He's only got one title that he defended once. If anything his first move should be to take on Steve Cunningham and undo that SD into a UD or a KO. I just don't think he should even fantasize about the idea of going up to HW.

No he wouldn't. I would bet the farm on Adamek to beat Valuev. If this guy is considered a world champion in your division, WBA, while struggling with a old grandpa like Holyfield, imagine what a guy like Adamek would do to him. Adamek would beat him worse than Chagaev did.
Thread starter has lied. Adamek didn't mention it after beating Banks. It was mentioned to him by the reporters, as an old quote of his, and Adamek wouldn't commit to it. My educated guess is that he stays at Cruiser for one more year at least.
