    Its early days but he's done absolutely nothing to prove he can adapt his style to the pros.

    Not impressed with Degale. But early days yet. Then again a KO isn't everything.

    yeah that's the criticism.

    didn't put the foot down and really want the stoppage.

    Harrison sprung to mind as a comparison while I watching that as well.

    The touching **** (especially the pats on the top of the head) really pissed me off.




    Not the best debut. Was far more impressed with Gavin, and even more so with Saunders.

    I'm sure DeGale will get a ton of crap for that fight, but the biggest problem was simply that he was still fighting like an amateur.

    Clean punches but mainly in ones and twos, potshotting then getting out of there, not the style that gets the crowd on your side. He didn't have that pro style aggression, just happy to punch and score.

    Good for his health, could be bad for his career.

    Jade probably battled through the pain to stay up and watch it but was fast asleep halfway through the first round and missed her shout out!
