I was just looking at that fight yesterday and noticed that he had Spinks pinned against the ropes saying something to him just prior to destroying him. Maybe something like "here it comes now you ------". Very impressive job by Gerrie.

i heard in the fight sonny Liston lost a UD when he broke his jaw, his oppoennet told him a joke and he started laughing and got cracked on the chin which broke his jaw.

Must have been a funny joke imagine liston smiling let alone laughing

 

I've heard said opponent was actually, get this... Howling like a dog.

Liston proceeds to laugh and gets his jaw broken.

 

Ali used his mouth as well as his mind and fists to beat george foreman
