I do think it would be fairly easy night for hops depending on how he carried the weight
their seems to be two sides to Adamek. One where he seems very jerky and unsure of himself and following through with his punches. And the other where he lets his hands fly bernard should win against either way with his incredible d .The latter obviously causing more problems but hops would still be able to capitalize on making him miss

I agree. Adamek would have no idea what to do and having any "size" advantage won't help him. Adamek was fighting at 175 not all that long ago himself. Bernard was a LHW well before he actually move to 175. Size won't be a factor in this one.

That was not that long after the Pavlik fight considering it's Bernard. He always stays in shape and probably thought at the time his next fight would be at 175. I don't doubt he walks around at 190 at times.

I'm sure Hopkins wants Adamek because him and Richardson have seen enough flaws to think that they can win. I think this is a bad match up for Adamek and he should let it go. Hopkins would hit him at will and take away his offense.

Why isnt Cunningham getting his rematch? That fight was razor thin. Its not like Adamek did anything to dominate the fight, yeah he knocked Cunningham down 3 times but besides that was being outboxed most of the fight. If Cunningham stays on the outside and boxes he wins.

Hopkins would neutralise him with ease. But Adamek is a good entertaining fighter and he took care of banks in style, well done. I want to see Adamek against Enzo Maccarinelli

This fight is not so easy to pick.

B-Hop walks around at 190 ? Did he say that publicly? Bernard fought at 160 at age 40 . Adamek shouldn't fight Hopkins unless the money is too good, most of Hopkins fights are pretty poor to watch really , he like a slow paced fight with holding and slow dancing around the ring.

If Adamek can land a few good body punches per round to Hopkins body then he wins . Most of the time Bernard is fighting anyone his true fighting weight or bigger they end up being very boring slow paced defensive fights. He has looked good against guys that have moved up in weight to fight him . Against Tarver he looked good because Tarver was so bad that night.

Not meant to be, just the way I see it going down. If I like a fighter doesn't matter where they are from.

  14. I'm not doubting that you believe BHOP can win or that he might find a way to overcome his age and get a win. But he is 44 now. It is unlikely that he would win easily. Adamek is sturdier than Pavlik (at this point in Pavlik's career). Adamek isn't a light punching middle aged Calzaghe either. And, BHOP is unlikely to be as nimble and quick at 200. It is the age differential that makes me strongly doubt he stomps Adamek like a novice as you are almost suggesting. It would be an enormously difficult fight at 44. I said in January that he was more likely to skip Dawson and go for a (Euro) cruiser. I really think he should call it a career now that RJJ came up so short and JC decided to skip while he was ahead. But, if he does take the fight then he deserves all the credit in the world (because many young champions lauded on ESB seem to only fight near bums and never were's and/or call out 40 year olds).

i think adamek might be a lil much for nard at this point, nard already has stamina issues given his age, also how much pop will he have at cruiser? But im also a bit curious about a certain fact, at this stage i believe nard is only picking fights he can win, he must see something in adamek that he can exploit. or maybe hes just gettin brave cause its his last fight, not sure here.
