Diaz = Vargas ?!

    Two young guys who at 25, both were put in there with powerful and more experience fighters and lost in a brutal K.O

    So I ask this... is Juan Diaz the next Fernando Vargas ?

    I surely hope not because his a great kid with so much skill and determination.

    Vargas was more praised than Diaz at this stage and look were he ended up so you never know.

    Vargas had 1 punch knockout power and looked mean...Diaz has neither. Also vargas was a superstar at an even younger age than diaz i believe

    Diaz' problem is that he has no power and very little defense. If he could punch, he may have knocked JMM out in the second round.

    I don't think we'll see Diaz around for too long. He has something to live for besides boxing, so I think his health is a priority.

    Hell No, Diaz shows a lot more heart and energy than Vargas ever showed. Vargas was more into his ring entrances than his boxing skill. Juan D just needs a better trainer and more experience and he can be a la JMM in a few years; an older, experienced and great champion.
