With the Demolition of Diaz, Did JMM overtake Barrera and Morales in ATG Rankings?

MAB and EM are ranked by many in the bottom of the top 100 ATG, with the win by JMM, did he overtake the two?

No. Diaz is nothing and he is a bit overrated here on the forum for years.

I say no,not yet atleast. He has maybe a couple of years left and is moving upto 140 and can become a 4 weight champ and overtake them by doing so.Either way,all 3 are greats

i would like to say yes but barrera and morales' body of work at 122 and 126 could not be ignored. i guess one more big win over joan guzman for a lightweight unification or just a win over pac to leave no doubt.

They're not ranked in the bottom of the top 100, they're ranked towards the middle 43 and 45 if I remember right.

MAB was at his best probably at 122, and did his best work there. EM also wasn't EM once he moved past FW. I think JMM has some more work to do, but he could get there if time doesn't run out on him.

Difficult assessment and I'm too loaded to think about it now, but he's definitely a legit threat. JMM is like the US mail. He always delivers.

being the true 135 champ by KOing real contenders and two close wars with pac, it's enough to put him above barerra, morales and nelson

Barrera and Morales had much better careers than JMM. How can beating Juan Diaz make him one win from overtaking them?

not exactly a demolition. it was 4-4 before the KO in the 9th. a demolition is 8-0 or 7-1 and then winning via KO.

when you demolish a building, it means tearing it down...and that is what JMM did, he teared down diaz physically and breaks down his pride
