im still uncertain because of one big factor how shot is barrera i have been asking anybody to get feedback about his training or word from inside his camp but nobody knows, barrera is a real inegma at the moment but if he is 50% of his prime he will batter khan to a late tko
Amir Khan has got skills and if he is going to beat a top fighter MAB is the best chance Khan has. because MAB has a lack of punching power, I am not saying MAB is a great boxer and a busy fighter who works his boxing and wins on points. But if Khan does win he will fight JMM..... that fight should not happen.
If Kahn can box at distance and use his jab for 12 rounds then he could win comfortably. But if he gets into exchanges with Barrera he will be lucky to get out of the fifth. Unless Roach as worked wonders in training I can't see Kahns defence holding up. A fight with Marquez would be pointless.
Michael was a great heavyweight, but its up to Amir on the night to bring his A-game to the table.. MM featured in a lot of my favorite fights through the 90's but one thing he wasn't was a great defensive fighter, he did like Amir get dropped a lot during fights and was more reknowned for his power punching that his boxing brain.. Mike i love but trainers and helpers are something Amir need just to tweak his tools , he is a great offensive fighter, but its the flaws around his defence i fear for.. I wish him great luck..
