    No, just the Commonwealth belt.

I think the European title is now vacant.

Rogan could have had him out in the 8th, but Skelton was able to lean on teh ropes and weather the storm, Rogan gassed attempting to do it, then had a bit of a breather in 9 and 10, before finally catching him clean in the 11th, then getting a good 6 or 7 clean shots in.

I thought the fight was going to be **** until about the 4th round, as it was a horrible ManBearPig hug fest until then

Brilliant by Rogan if only he started his career a few years earlier! The way he finished it off was spectacular as well. To be honest i thought this was gonna be a snoozer, what a barnburner!

  4. How can you not love Skelton & Rogan. If I live to see them both get a big payday in Vegas I will die a happy man.

Does anyone see Rogan giving Chagaev a better fight than Skelton? Or has he found his level? Would he beat Valuev?

Not mentioning the Klitschko's as I don't think that's too realistic. But he's a comparitive novice (12 fights!!!) and he's doing really well, he might be old but he's fresh and if 47-year old EVander (I know it''s till Holyfield but man he's shot) can look decent against Valuev, why not Rogan, less skilled but fresh and with a good workrate.

  6. Both would outpoint Valuev.

I know - I'm a little miffed he didn't have the brainwave to turn to boxing when he was in his mid 20s or something. He'll be one the decline by his 20th fight. Guaranteed.

No they wouldn't. What are they going to do, try and outpoint Valuev on the outside and avoid Valuev's ponderous paws? Nope, because it's not their style and they don't have the finesse for it anyway. And Valuev's extra size will be the undoing of either Skelton or Rogan. Rogan's not a big heavy.

    no.

i am convinced that rogan would beat valuev 10 times out of 10...he would be like holyfield was against valuev, but with a better workrate...he would win.

  10. Yes they would. Did you not just see Holyfield beat Valuev mate?

And he did beat him by the way. Is he a big heavy?

Rogan & Skelton would both have a better than even chance of beating this version of Holyfield too. I don't understand your reasoning.

Rogan was incredible.... I mentioned Littles-Liles the other day, that was meant to be a stinker too. Roga deserves a title shot..... Fury-Rogan would be awesome if Fury wants to step up that quick. I'd take Rogan at this stage.

Holyfield avoided punches. That's not really Rogan's style.

I loved this fight, so glad Rogie won.

Where does he gi from here he has already surpased everybodies exectations. Nobody at first picked him to win the PrizeFighter, most felt Audley would out point him and nearly everyone thought Skelton would be too strong and experienced. Bt look at him nw, undefeated with a professional title and Audley and Skelton on the cv.

Where dowe go now, shot atthe vacant EBU maybe...?

Holyfield has skill on the outside, he made Valuev look ponderous. Rogan doesn't have that in him.

And I'm getting sick and tired of people overrating our fighters. I'm going to bring up the post where I'm specifically stated directly after Thaxton won the European title that he would lose it in his first defence, simply because he wasn't very good.
