Marquez would have to be careful because he does not take a punch as well as his contemporaries, and Hamed has the power to end a fight with one shot. That said, Marquez's class should come through, who'd be countering Hamed for the best part of 12 rounds to a Barrera-like UD.
JMM late KO, he had great power back at FW and is far too skilled of a technician and counterpuncher to let Hamed get away with what he would try But he might get dropped early
A prime Naz was around 1995, I dont think Marquez would beat that version, the version MAB beat on the other hand I reckon Marquez would win against.
Hamed avoided him for a reason. Hamed would have gotten KOed. How was Hamed able to avoid JMM, Morales, and MAB for so long? Hamed was an overhyped joke.
JMM was not really a big enough name when Hamed was around and everyone as calling for Hamed vs MAB or Morales.
Hamed was the biggest under-achieving boxer of the last 20 years. Bold statement i know but i really rated him. Had he stayed with his original trainer and maintained discipline he would have been the greatest. One of the most naturally gifted boxers i have ever seen, which in the end became his ultimate downfall as he believed too much in his own hype and slacked off training. Still, what a great showman, boxing needs people like Naz.
JMM by a workman like stoppage late. Marquez would be all business in that ring but like someone said earlier, he might get dropped early.
marquez wasnt deemed a big enough name when he was his mandatory for years, yet liendo, lawal, alicea, bungu etc.... were?:huh hamed ducked him.
Mandatory for which boxing belt? WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO? Did Marquaez want the fight because I dont remember him calling Naz out.
