Like I said, Kellerman is much more knowledgeable and is a far better analyst than Bunce will ever be. That's why Kellerman is working for the most prominent boxing network in the world while Bunce is toiling away in the UK. HBO would never even consider hiring a chump like Bunce because the network actually has standards.

 

obscure is working in Timbuktu for some Malian TV show! Working on the Setanta boxing coverage that is seen all over the world is not obscure! Just because alot of Americans think that if its not American its obscure/**** does not mean its true..... a fact that is proven week after week by HBO ie HBO are ****!

Bunce is just like Teddy Atlas -- he just loves hearing the sound of his own voice even when there's absolutely no substance in his words. I'm sure Max could rip Bunce even worse than Bunce did to Max, but Kellerman probably doesn't even want to waste his time.

Max works on the flagship of boxing and is the analyst for some of the world's best fighters. What does Bunce do? Sits on his fat ass in studio and talks about Britain's best fighters (a limited bunch, quite frankly). Max is where Bunce wants to be; no wonder Bunce is so upset.

On the contrary, there are MANY superior alternatives out there. In fact, ANYONE would be better. I'm no fan of Larry Merchant, but he is LIGHT-YEARS better than that unqualified clown Kellerman.

HBO should go after the best commentator in the sport - Al Bernstein.

Just because you work for a big company does not make you the best, and just because something is the biggest does not mean its the best ie HBO! Are all the biggest musical acts in the world the best?

Since when do obscure and **** mean the same thing? Never said Setanta was ****, but it is more obscure than HBO. That statement does not have anything to do with respective quality. And I'm sorry, but America's international cultural presence does dwarf the UK's. Maybe not in continental Europe and a few of the former colonies, but overall? Yes.
