Thats wishful thinking on your part, Wlad's just to good for the likes of Rogan. While Wlad's chin is pretty much glass, with the help of Manny, he has learned many tricks to protect that achilles heal of his. If you want to beat Wlad now, you will need more than just heavy hands and a big heart.

 

That would be the real life Rocky story. Although Wlad obviously isn't the showman Creed was.

 

Actually I've just remembered Creed won in the first film didn't he.

Wlad's chin is about as weak as the American economy, but if you cant get to it to expose it, it really dont matter how bad it is. I hate to say it, I see very few Heavyweight on the horizon good enough to even give Wlad a tough fight, let alone beat him. Other than Haye, I could honestly see Wlad going undefeated for another 3 years.

 

Wlad can't fight up close but when does anyone ever get inside on him, when they do he clinches.Wlad would keep Rogan at distance with his jab and pummel him with the right.Big mismatch imo - Wlad ko5

I hope Rogan gets a title shot but he should be targeting the Valuev/Chagaev winner - probably Chagaev who tough as hell also but at least Rogan would be reasonably competitive here

 

If Wladimirs chin is so weak, then how come your favorite fighter didn't knock him spark out with his money punch and about 100 deliberate rabbit punches?

That hook put Krasniqi literally OUT, Wladimir didn't even go down...

 

Wlad chin is not so bad, this is bul****. He was knocked down by the heavy hands from Sanders, not well prepared for this fight, but he always gets up. He never was knocked out cold.

With Steward in his corner, Wlad had learned to protect himself better and to deal with punches. He is a much more complete figher now who is very hard to beat.

 

We been over this, Wlad clinched Peter 97 times, was dropped 3 times, and had a few panic attacks along the way as well. Peter never once landed his money shot (Overhand Right) on Wlad's weak chin with full force. And if you watched the fight several times as I did, you will see Wlad clinching anytime Peter tried to mount an attack, even turning his back at points during the fight to avoid punches.

Brewster landed a couple decent blows to end the fight, but nothing even close to what he knocked out Krasniqi with late in their fight in 05.

 

Thats check the stats, shall we. Wlad has been down 11 or 12 times by my count, Panell, Puritty, TOS, Brewster, Sanders (4 times), and Peter (3 times) have all dropped him. Wlad has been TKO'd 3 times, all against journeymen at the time, is that enough proof for you.

 

What about all the other guys who knocked Wlad down?
