John won the fight,I had it 116-113.
No way Juarez won 6 rounds.

Most JMM fans will say he was robbed but IMO i thought the fight was a draw.

So it could of gone either way the fight was that close.

Some JMM nuthuggers think JMM totally outboxed John which was not the case.

I'm late on this thread. I had it 8 to 4 for John. Rocky is no bum, but one anouncer gave the answer. It is like Quarry who fought best, but could not beat the best. A rematch will only get him a litttle money. John was actually getting better from virus or cold. If this is true, then how much better would he have performed last night. If Rocky ever gets another crack at a title, it should be against a less dangerous champ. I feel for him and possibly he may get that last opportunity. Good fighter.

I also find it amusing/comical that all three judges scored it exactly the same 114-114. What are the chances of that? I actually rewatched the fight today and I guess I could see Rocky winning 4 rounds, maybe a 5th that was a draw. That's really a stretch, though.

116-112 is about right. I wouldn't argue with 117-111 or 115-113 either, but it definitely wasn't that close.

John deserves a lot of credit, because he outboxed Juarez the much harder way. All Soto, Barrera and Marquez are excellent punchers, and they were able to make Juarez respect their power. But John used ring smarts, a well working jab and good upper body movement to hit and not get hit, and he looked really good for most parts.

It seems like John wasn't even at 100%

they said during the fight that against a better opponent they would have pulled him out.

    Rocky Juarez is shitty ...

John won that fight ... Juarez had some moments but didn't do enough to win a round. His fans weren't even all together there for him during the whole fight ... it was 3 or 4 round stretches when the hometown fans were silent ...

Its shitty that John was robbed ... he didn't deserve that --

Juarez really deserves to be a journeyman

Not the point is it even if it is true? Retaliation scoring is as ugly as the original robbery.

I wouldn't call it a robbery but John clearly beat Juarez 8 rounds to 4 minimum.
