Was fun to watch, which in the end is all that matters.

Juan Diaz is a great young fighter....so it's not a shock that JMM "got hit a lot". Fact is JMM from rounds 6 to the finish was outstanding to watch and that's what people will remember.

Perhaps Juan Diaz is an elite fighter that just got beaten by an ATG who put a hard as hell performance and showed himself the more willful and powerful boxer.

Juan Diaz is more than just good. Seeing as how he gave the P4P #2 a run for his money, I think referring to him as just "good" is a slight.

By the same token, the word "great" is thrown around to easily.

He loss to nate campbell. calling him "elite" is quite inaccurate too.

Probably...but then again I could easily say "If JMM had a better chin, those Pac fights would be different."

If, would and could are moot when discussing the final result and this is coming from a massive Juan Diaz fan.

Diaz is a very good fighter with a great chin. JMM has moved up from the lower weights and seems to have more power than he ever did, combined with his great boxing abilities, you can't say he is overrated. He's carrying the torch as Mexico's finest right now. I'd say hes a top 3 P4P right now.

I think Juan Diaz is a very good younger fighter. This weekend was not his first defeat, and he himself admits his inadequacies when he is in trouble.
