750,000 is better than 30,000. I take 750,000 over 30,000 any ****ing day :rofl plus morales is a bigger star than marquez so arum knew it would make more money. See $$$$$$ is what its all about. You go for whatever makes you more..

marquez promoter should have gone for 750,000 than 30,000 :rofl

Marquez had 24 rounds to beat Manny Honestly Pacquiao gave the man two shots to beat him and Marquez couldnt in two fights, so why should Manny be the man to have to give Marquez anything?

And Marquez calling out Floyd, that is a fight Floyd will never take, there isnt the kind of money in that fight that Floyd likes. Floyd will want Pacquiao no doubt if any fight, Pacquiao will get Floyd paid and that is what this game is about.

the offer top rank made to marquez wasn't a serious offer, the only reason it was made was to say that marquez didn't want the fight so then arum could go and get fights with a washed up morrales and barrera.

if top rank were serious of getting the fight on then the least they would have offered was $2,000,000.

for top rank and pacquiao the second fight with morrales was the safe fight, morrales could no longer make 130 with ease, he had to kill himslef to get there, and when he was there he was a shadow of his former self. he just lost his previous fight and was no longer the warrior that he was in the first fight, wheras marquez was still a dangerous fighter who would be too risky.

if $$$$$ is what it was about then marquez should have got his shot against pacquiao before morrales vs pacquiao III, and he should have got his shot after beating barrera, but instead pacquiao decided to fight the loser.

hmm... anybody notice that pac is the only fighter not calling out anybody while everyone and his mother is calling him out, even jmm in this instance although he doing it indirectly thru mayweather. pbf is probably laughing his socks off now, saying jmm who?! and yet another fighter using his name to get attention.

Nah, he was just trying to impress his Oriental boyfriend who was right on his behind. Don't be fooled, that's all that was.

How can it not be a serious offer when your opponent gets the same offer, that's all HBO was offering. Where's your link?

Juan Manuel Marquez is a ****in legend as far as im concerned!!! Diaz looked as if he had marquez's number in the first half but marquez was in a class of his own in round 8 until the finish. I hadnt seen diaz fight until last night, and although he looked like a fat ******* of a lightweight at the weigh in, i was impressed with his boxing in the first half. But Marquez showed that he can take numerous big punchs, and then showed he can knock diaz into next week. Before the fight i thought marquez beat pacman, but this fight showed that marquez should be considered the best fighter pound for pound in the world as far as im concerned.

I wonder why JMM didn't call out Mosley or Cotto? Does he really want the best? I don't think so. JMM is one of the best technical fighter, better than Pac, but he's got no class when he talks about Pac.

jmm has no reason to call out mayweather.

    He would lose anyway

It was an error, yes!! BUT IN MOST FIGHTS IF A FIGHTER IS KNOCKED DOWN 3 TIMES N 1 ROUND IT USUALLY IS A 10-7 ROUND EVEN WITH THE 3 KNOCKDOWNS!!:deal

That is why fighters fight. To actually have a definitive winner and loser, rather than to simply say, "Let's not make the fight. He would lose anyway". That was certainly the case with Gatti and Baldomir, but those fights happened.
