...which i think would be a tough task.. (am i'm not getting ahead of myself), will he get the same respect that jmm has after the diaz beatdown?

..will he finally get the respect he deserves for beating a prime fighter in hatton just in case it happens? (since some posters here think hatton is a 'better' pressure fighter than diaz)

... or will he get ridiculed again for beating up a shot fighter that mayweather beat even if he does it in style?

He would get full credit from me, hell I give hiim alot of credit for his beat down of shot Hoya. Alot of people thought even a shot Oscar would tear Pac up, that was clearly not the case. Pac's a monster!

Jesus , you cant even begin to compare Hatton to JUan Diaz with all due respect to Diaz. Hatton is the best and undefeated at 140. Better fighter than Diaz in every category except Cardio

No, Hatton has shown a decline in recent fights (apart from Malignaggi) and he wasn't all that great to begin with. It's a decent victory, but Diaz is better.

Every big name on Hatton's record was pretty much within 2 matches of the end of their career - Castillo, Tszyu, Tackie, Oliviera, Phillips.... **** even Maussa only had two fights after Hatton before retiring. The only time he fought a big-time fighter not on the very cusp of retirement he got KTFO. He damn near got stopped against the very ordinary Juan Lazcano and would have if the ref hadn't stopped the fight to let Ricky 'tie his shoelaces.'

What's his best win against an active young fighter? Urango?? Bleah... I'm sorry, but I think Hatton is hype and I always have. He DOES have a chance to win if he turns out to be stronger than Pac and the ref lets him hit and hold but I really don't see that happening.

No. It's irritating only because it's obvious *******s say it over and over again just to be irritating, and having people like that around is no fun for anyone.

In fact, since so many *******s use that exact same phrase, I wouldn't be surprised if it's some kind of plan straight from the ******* thread. Doesn't really say much about the phillipino sense of humor or personal integrity, but that's probably why you're a third world country. Too many people who think saying 'kiss the canvas' is the height of wit means you probably don't have a wide pool of capable leaders to choose from. That's alright. At least you have Pacquiao.

Diaz throws more punches than Hatton, throws a wider variety of punches and gets hit a lot less. Any fight that Hatton is in where he's not allowed to maul and hit and hold, he's probably going to lose against B- fighters.

    Seriously..

Personally, it would be awesome if Manny does defeat Ricky, especially if he wins by TKO or wide, brutal UD.

I don't care too much about the rankings and how other people see him.

I do, but not very much. They can rate Pacquiao as low as number 10 p4p and it wouldnt bother me.

I only join in on the Pac threads to try and defend my fellow fans from the bashing and stuff.
