    to negate the double standard...

pac got is 1-1-0 against jmm with 4KD's.

    Its in the official book.

    that helps this thread. ;)

Definitely, a double standard. Haters will always find a reason for discrediting Pac's victory.
But Marquez won big. No doubt about it.

Again i have no problem of Marquez being the current no. 1 P4P fighter after his performance against diaz... just for the record.

It's not the titles that matter here, it is the manner or quality on how he was beaten. Pac dominated Barrera in the 2nd fight while Marquez almost lost that fight against Barrera. Some even thought he lost.

that's where we disagree. diaz at most is a B+ fighter, not even A-level much less Elite. he was already defeated by campbell when jmm fought him. jmm was clearly favored to win and many ppl here predicted a UD or a late KO victory. jmm can't assume #1 p4p without beating an Elite or top 10 p4p fighter yet. pac has already done this around 4-5X.

    it's debatable...

Pac has a chance to reclaim it come may 2.

no. pac has a chance either to lose it or further solidify it on May 2. if the former happens, then that's the only time that jmm assumes the #1 p4p spot.
