With Haye v Klit looking unlikely, I think Haye should go for this fight. Rogan won Prizefighter, beat Harrison, beat Skelton, is C'Wealth champ and undefeated. From that, he should now have a decent level of popularity, coupled with the ability to sell a decent bout. At 6'3, 225pound (in shape) he is a decent sized heavyweight too. He's big and strong. I'd like to see this bout. I'd also like to see Haye mix it up with Dimentriko.
Yeah i think this would be an interesting fight. Rogan would show him zero respect and go straight for the KO. Haye would have to use his footwork and speed to keep him away. Haye would stop Rogan though i'm sure.
Well, I wish Haye would get something sorted, I'm almost losing interest in him and I've been going on about him to anyone who'd listen since 2002. Get some proper HW's on your record and give the fans something. Going straight for the Klit's never sat comfortably with me. Rogan would do for me at the moment.
the part time cab driver would get sparked inside 3 . its one thing beaten a old slugger like matt ...a live wire like haye would destroy rogan.
Haye does seem to be dithering about choosing his next opponent, surely they had a Plan B if the K2 Bros didn't come about?
Unfortunately Rogan wouldn't be up to this. You'd have a ***an -v- Khan style scenario where Rogan comes out throwing wild shots trying to spark Haye. Now while Haye isn't the most polished boxer and does have a set of dodgy whiskers he'd still be well capable of staying away from the very, very limited Rogan and planting him with some big bombs. Sure Rogan could take him out if he landed big but there is only a tiny chance he could get into range and catch Haye clean. More likely than not he gets bombed out inside 3 or 4. Rogan is a great story. He's come a long way and to think he's only had 12??? fights. A world title shot would be the icing on the cake but I think its a bit much to expect him to achieve much more The man has overachieved for his entire (but brief career). He had a few nothing fights to start off. Then overachieved winning prizefighter. He had the balls to seize the moment and step up and fight Audrey over 10 rounds (he previously had only a single 6 round fight to his name) and manage to squeeze out the win. He then had the balls to step up and face Skeletor, who has a good pedigree, and come through and be the first man to stop him. It really has been like Rocky but the fairytale has to end somewhere. A shot at Chagaev and an all or nothing performance (to go with a big payday) would be a fitting way for him to go out. I get the feeling that Rogie really knows that it's time to get on with things and fasttrack his way to the top. I reckon if he goes for a world title and loses he'll call it a day. David Haye, on the other hand, needs to do something. I think he's finding out the hard way that there is more to dealing in the big time (contract wise) than he thought. He had a good buzz going and got the hype going nicely. But sorry David, if you don't get your deal with the Klitschkos then you have to have a plan B and execute it. You can't sit around and say 'I'll only fight one of the two Klitchkos' you need to get up off your arse, get another win under your belt and advance your claim to fight one of them even further for the next time the three of you all come to sit down and work out who you will fight. I'm not hating on the man but he needs to light a fire under himself
Haye's chin is made of the finest quality soggy brown paper bag material,he'd get ssparked by the fiest half decent miss Rogan threw. I'll be shouting for the Paddie should it come off which it won't.
