He beat the linear champion, and the second best fighter at 135. To make matters more impressive, he knocked them both out.

Pacman beat a top 5 AT BEST 135 pounder, and an unranked welterweight. Nether of whom were even close to the top 25 P4P.

Since Pacman-JMM II, Juan Manuel Marquez has had better wins. Period.

Also, I don't know that I would favor Pacman over Diaz. JUAN Diaz that is. And I know for a fact that JMM would be a heavy favorite to win against the other Diaz and the De La Hoya that Pacman beat.

Keep thinking that *******. By the end of the year JMM might just have that 140 lb crown, rip that #1 p4p spot away from Pacquiao, and become a 4 division lineal champion himself.

Do I have to post that KO of Torrecampo?

What is amazing about these pics of JMM on the canvas is that he proceeds to get up and win a majority of the rounds. Win or lose, that is a badass thing to do.

pac is getting that 4th lineal chmapionship first, leaving your bf jmm in the dust... trust me. and when jmm tries to go to 140, same scenario. he'll kiss the canvass again, and you will be crying just like the old time sake :hey:hi:

    correction. marquez is a 3-weight (126, 130 and 135) and a lineal champ @135. on the other hand, pac is a 5-weight (112, 122, 126, 130 and 135) and a 3-time lineal champ @112, 126 and 130.

If you are going to give Pac credit for winning titles there, then you have to take the crap that comes from him losing there. Its a two way street pal. The only way he could make that weight is because he was a toothpick, which allowed him to beat up on naturally smaller men. To bad the same issue also led to a loss.

now you are mistaken here my friend. a lost is a lost... BUT if it happened when you were 17 something and you ate once a day, than perhaps it is understandable. BUT if it happened on your best years, then something wrong in there. best years or prime>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> toothpick years=17 y/o something. got it?

Spin jobs are for washing machines.

If you are going to credit him for his wins there, then you must apply credit for his losses to.

life is not fair guru.. but critics tend to weigh more on your best years and not when you were unkown. but you re correct i am just saying life is not fair.

I will be thoroughly impressed with Pacman if he collects a win over Ricky Hatton. However, I do not believe it will happen.

As of right now, I think that JMM deserves to be the P4P #1 fighter in the sport, and will be on my P4P list. If Pacman wins against Hatton, he takes the spot back. It's simple really.
