Hopkins isn't much for duckin is he?

 

1. Hop's age
2. Moving up so much in weight
3. Adamek has a piece of granite attached to his chin, albeit I've seen him hurt
4. Adamek hits very hard
5. Adamek is smart and can box

This is no walkover.

 

Hey, you can't claim that Hopkins isn't looking for the toughest possible fights...

 

. . . like I said . . . this is the only logical fight left for Bhops.

Anothet title at another weight class plus $$$$.

 

I love B-Hop but there is NO WAY he walks around at 190. That's a plain lie. He had to bulk up to make light heavy and every one knows how clean his life style is and how he's a gym rat. Nope, he's naturally MUCH smaller than Adamek. It'll be the fight of his life, if he pulls it off he gets major, major props and surely rockets up the all time p4p list.

 

Adamek is not the toughest fight for Hopkins, it will probably offer the most money and respect for moving up and beating the champ. Dawson or Johnson would be tougher fights for Hops.

This is a good fight. I'd lean towards Hopkins but this is a tough one to call. Adamek, due to size and other factors, is a lot tougher opponent than Pavlik. Adamek was one of the best lightheavies in the world for several years and has moved up to be the cruiserweight champion. He is on a nice winning steak and has beaten some solid to good opponents. He is a very live opponent. Then you don't know how Hopkins will handle the weight or if this is the fight where age has finally caught up with him. Very intriguing fight that I really hope comes off. A lot of credit due to Hopkins for taking this kind of chance.

 

I want him to fight Dawson, he's being calling out hopkins for a while.
And if I remember correctly hopkins said he didn't want to fight him because he doesn't have enough draw power, but then goes on to fight Adamek?

 

No, he is not and God love him for it.

If this happens, it will be amazing. Both guys have major balls wanting this fight. Hopkins thinks Adamek is another Pavlik. Maybe skin color, but the similarity ends there.

B Hop may win the first 1/2 of the fight, then Adamek will turn up the attack & BH can run, but he can't hide. Age will catch up to him, because Adameks pressure will where him down. Pavlik wasn't able to apply any pressure, so Hopkins looked fresh at the end of that fight.
