I am so ashamed of the WBA for looking over 5x champ Evander Holyfield as he clearly beat Big Foot, and now they have a Champion in recess vs the current but former champion as he lost to Holyfield 8-4.

Theses belts are more crookeder than that Governor in Illinois or should I say Governor in recess using boxing terms. How can John the WBA Loves me Ruiz be a mandatory without fighting in a year at least?

So if Ruiz win and Holyfield is the People champ shall we see Holyfield vs. Ruiz 4? Enough about the World Boxing Azzholes

To another corrupt belt just as much corrupts as President in recess George. W.Bush the (WBC) or World Boxing Corruption is as evil as it's junior counterpart the WBA.

How can you force one fighter to make mandatories defenses and another one not too? There is no double standards in mandatory defenses unless the New champion ala.. The Champion Emeritus is going to make the WBC more money than the ex champion who is the mandatory; and their ranking system sucks if you loose to a top ten guy you need to be ousted not dropping down 1-2 places this is what s' killing boxing name and promoter recognition.

Now on to the IBF or ( In it by Fraud) this belt is what 27 years old and was just giving to already champions now that was a scheme, but no one really cares for this title; I don't know of one all time great that has kept this belt this belt seems to be for titleholders or that maybe I can get a major title shot; but hey if winning a title is your dream this is the belt to go for !!! Are you listening Rocky Juarez

And the WBO is a mixture of all 3 and will be replaced by the IBO in a few years as the 4th leading belt to me the IBO is the best of the alphabets but these are my opinions.

Thats why no one likes the alphabet title orgs, the only belt I consider ligit is The Ring. And I do agree, The whole "Champion Emeritus" thing is BS.

Hey think of it this way, maybe Chagaev beats Valuev, Ruiz (being the mandatory) beats Chagaev, then we can all look forward to Ruiz-Holyfield IV!!!!!

We're only on Ruiz-Holyfield IV? **** it seemed there must have been 6 of em already at least, but maybe they just warped space and time with boredom.

They use computerised rankings. Matters not as there champs are weak and there belt always just happens to be up for grabs when a big fight is involved.

Wonder if I can get a mandatory at the WBA, after this Wyoming gig Tommy Morrison never did answer my challenge for the West Virginia state thumb-wrestling chamionship....so alas I must move on.

They're all in it for their own agenda's.

Apparently the WBA's is to prop up the HW division by suggesting Ruiz is a challenger.

If any of the sanctioning bodies had balls - They would make Wlad mandatory for Vitali and vice versa.

Then strip them for not fighting number 1.

Then we can really ruin the HW division.

I think this is a hell of a good suggestion. Are you being sarcastic or serious?

Kinda guessed there was some sarcasm there... nothing gets by me.

Anyways, I think it would be a great idea if say the IBF mandated VK as the mandatory so that we could see some clarification. It's outright bull**** that we, the boxing fans, have to suffer a shitty HW morass because the top two fighters just don't want to fight each other.

Let's get some damn clarity in the marquee division already!!!

those brothers keep the HW division alive. they will never fight each other and will more likely quit boxing altogether if they get stripped of their titles for not fighting each other. so i think this is a bad idea

Oh bull**** the Klitshkos "keep the HW division alive." They are both very good fighters, but because they have this refusal to fight, the fans suffer. The ultimate goal of any division should be unification #1 above all. By selfishly refusing to fight each other, the K bros. are holding a division hostage and preventing real unity and clarification. Make no mistake, the HW division will be fine without the Klitschkos around clogging up the works. What it needs is an agreed-upon champ who is willing to fight anyone. Wlad was THIS close to being that until VK came around and kind of spoiled it. Now the brothers have the title, but the fans are left in the cold, with the top two fighters refusing to face each other. You're saying that this is what the HW division--the marquee division in boxing--needs?
