He's got quite a belly in that pic, lucky for him he is a tall, lean guy, probbaly after he retires he won't get that fat and even if he does it won't look that bad on his body unlike shorter guys like Diaconu and Dorin.

    5 questions for Bute fans:

After the Bute v. Andrade fight, do you:

    1. Respect Bute more or less?

    2. Like Bute more or less?

    3. Support/Follow the career of Bute more or less?

    4. Believe in Bute more or less?

    5. Empathise/identify with Bute more or less?

    :think

bute is a very talented fighter, the andrade fight has not changed my opinion of him, just lets me know the reason he fights controlled and not on the fast burner all the time is that he can run out of gas.

wlad klitchko did this v brewster 1 and learned his lesson and has not been close to doing so since , albeit it has taken a little excitment away.

bute is going to have to learn to relax a little more , do enough to win middle rounds of fights and then coast the rest of the round to conserve energy.

could also be fighting in front of the passionate canadian crowds , makes him burn a little to much nervous energy in big fights and as he matures , this will disappear and his stamina as a result should improve.

zuniga is just the type of opponent we will find out what effect the last round v andrade has had on bute , i suspect none, and he will be impressive v zuniga.

If my memory is good, I think he did in between 160 and 170 rounds of sparring before the Andrade fight...

Bute did 160 sparring rounds for the Andrade fight. He will have done 100 for Zuniga. I think it's enough. Especially as he had a 12 week training camp for Andrade, compared to 8 for Zuniga. Maxime may be right with the overtraining possibility.

I'm watching tape these days on Zuniga and I can't say I see anything impressive,on the contrary.

Hmmm...Zuniga...he has nothing to lose and all to gain...he's hungry and this time, he's trained well too...hmmm....

Before gassing up, Bute had probably his best rounds at the end of the fight. 10th and 11th rounds were all his. I think the rematch will begin there. Bute knows what to do now and he is far better to adapt than Andrade. The only question is: what will happen at the beginning of the fight, when Andrade charge desperately Bute?

Insightful post from a mature poster, sean; I've got to give it to you...but I think you are a bit optimistic about Bute...can he really change that much? Can he improve enough to become really good?. :good
