PBF fought Baldo before Forrest did. He blew Baldo out 12-0 and made it look fun, no one thought PBF was gonna do that to Baldo. PBF unified the division and won the lineal title in that fight. PBF earned over 8 million dollars in that fight.

Forrest beat Baldo by 9-3, picked up a vacant WBC title and made about $400K.

You tell me which win was more impressive.

I don't dare say Floyd would lose to him today, but I do think Forrest's style is a difficult one for Floyd to handle. But the fight isn't even happening so it's easy to just say a name without ever knowing if you're right or wrong.

To me, this isn't even a question that needs thought. How the hell is a 2009, 39yr old Vernon that has clearly declined, has clearly lost his legs and his stamina, had the fight of his life against Mora, possibly gonna beat a guy like PBF who is used to fighting bigge, stronger guys and has never loss.

 

You could be right, but the truth is we'll probably never know.

 

I don't know if you've seen Forrest the last few years. But if you think Forrest even has a chance, you and I just shouldn't discuss this topic together.
