    stylewise this would be great for Forrest, but I think Floyd moves better than Shane and with his style he would outbox Forrest.

    Dam I thought it was a prime Forrest we were talking about and voted Forrest UD, right now I think Forrest can make it close, but Floyd would still edge it.

    I don't know. I wonder if Vernon could make 150 for a catch weight fight?

    I like both fighters. Next time I see him I am going to ask him about this.

    It doesn't matter. He can fight PBF @ 154 OR 160, PBF still wins.

    No it wouldn't be too much weight. Forrest is way too old, PBF could fight him even at 168, it would be a win for PBF

    Ya all are seriously underestimating Forrest. You look at his loss against Mora a 6 foot counterpuncher, but neglect to look at his win.

    I could do the same thing with Floyd when concerning his fight with Castillo.

    Like Floyd in the rematch with Castillo, Forrest wiped Mora out in the rematch.

    Mora won only the 8th round, a round which he won with workrate, landing nothing meaningful, and managed to land only two right hands worth anything the entire fight.

    The first right hand, landed in the 9th and Forrest just shook it off like it was nothing and proceeded to win the round.

    The second right hand landed in the 11th round, which was followed by a devestating combination that almost put Mora on his ass.

    Oh, and Forrest knocked Mora down in the 7th round, and overall even though Mora is pretty hard to tag cleanly, and even though he's a 6 foot natural counterpuncher with decent speed, Forrest was extremelly accurate.

    But I guess Floyd at 5'8'' will be tagging that Forrest all day like it's nothing by counterpunching, even though he's giving up 4 inches in height, 1 inch in reach, and he's fighting a slick counterpunching boxer who throws crisp, accurate punches, and obviously has a considerable size advantage.

    Well you were the one that started discussing the topic with me in the first place. Of course Forrest has a chance, in theory he's a nightmare match for Floyd so after watching Forrests last performance I would say yeah, I think he does have a chance at 154lbs, I wouldn't put money on it, but I would not say he doesn't stand a chance.
