it can go to decision. hatton might have trouble catching pac enough if pac boxes and moves alot and I dont think pac has the power to ko hatton
Hatton definitely has the edge in power at 140, but remember Manny at higher weights is more of an accumulation puncher...Hatton's main target would be the Body, and Manny would be more of a Head hunter...and you were right about that Pac would be moving alot because i feel Manny would be employing that early in the fight and would be going for the kill in the later rounds. And Ricky would be looking for an early KO. Such contrasting strategies by both camps i guess. just my hunch..
That's ironic when you have Floyd's trainer in your avatar for all his world title fights. ps: Roger is his uncle, not his daddy. Floyd has said in interviews he credits Roger and his own athleticism more than anything his dad ever did.
yeah but Floyd has daddy issues. He is a Floyd Sr. product, Roger got pretty much a finished product. Whatever you may think of FM Sr., the mother****er can teach that shoulder roll and counter and the check hook. He's a quality trainer. I like Nazeem better, but only just.
Sr has me buying in. What will the odds be? Will Pac be favored somewhere around 3 to 1??? Could be a decent bet here.
If it's more than 2 to 1 I'm putting a heavy bet. I favor Pac in the fight but only just, and how much grappling the ref allows is going to have a BIG effect.
Oh come on. The shoulder roll when De La Hoya started using it looked awkward and his right hand was so less effective. I would go a step beyond your statement and say that Floyd Snr sired a finished product - If Floyd himself says he learnt more from Roger, then I'll take his word no matter what the deluded believe. Floyd Snr is not a "crap" trainer the same way Floyd Jnr is far from a "crap" boxer - However the gulf between truth and reality is apporximately the same between that statement and either one saying they're "the greatest ever".
I cant blame moneymay for having such a mouth anyways, its now crystal. like father like son. :blurp hope pac wins so these kind of mouth get zipped.
He's funny. I think he is a good trainer but, Roach is no joke. Sr. sounds like Jr. They're really related. All I know is that, the fight will not be one sided, but I still think that Pac has the edge because of his speed. His power should not be underestimated aswell.
Too much is made on the trainers. This is something Floyd Mayweather Sr. has done to build his ego. The Mayweathers are these insecure guys who like the spotlight. So they create situations where they are the story and not the fighters. The guys fighting are the ones who will win the fight. You can swap the trainers and put Roach with Hatton and Mayweather with Pacman and the same result will happen. These trainers are overrated. What a good trainer does is he handpicks the right guys to train so when they win, they ride on the coattails of a great fighter. The only guy I see who made a big difference to a guys career was Emanual Steward and Hearns. Manny Steward develop Tommy since he was young. That is a real trainer. Not someone who joins an already great fighter. Hearns became great with Manny from scratch. Where was Floyd Mayweather Sr. before his son became famous? He was not a great trainer. He used his son to become well known.
