I don't like converted southpaws..... Never did........ Converted fighters normally have a shitty right hand....... "Ruddock and Cooney" both had shitty right hands..... Still, Ruddock did act the part and fought some good fighters up until 1993....

As for Ike Ibeabuchi, well, he beat "Tua & Byrd." So What.?.? Ike Ibeabuchi was hyped up to the maxi-pad......

I'll pick the limited but schooled Ruddock to hammer Ibeabuchi..........

Ive gotta challenge this. I knew Ike and Kirk from the time they both came to texas. I watched both their careers blossom and fade To my knowledge Ike and Kirk never sparred together. Kirks manager forbad it.
Ike nearly took Byrds head off I think he hit him clean enough LOL

I gotta lean towards Ike in this one. It would be a hell of a fight, but Razor would have to stay on the outside and keep the jab flowing. I dont think Razors jab in addition to his stamina and toughness would be quite enough to hold out against Ike. I have Razor winning 2 - 4 rounds before suffering a TKO by round 10.

The ONLY good heavyweight Bowe beat was the much smaller Holyfield. He was scared shitless of Lennox Lewis so I know he'd never get near IKe.
As I said earlier I was in the gym at least 2 or 3 times a wekk when Ike and Kirk were training to my knowledge they never sparred each other

I'm detecting hate for Ike. Ike fought Tua, where as Lennox just poked him and kept his distance the whole fight. It was one of Lennox worse fights. Mercer vs Tua, wow that would have been a barnburner. Ike has mental health issues even then. That was his biggest opponent.

Even if it did happen, sparring is one thing and the fight is another. Fightign and beating Tua and Byrd are not easy tasks. Especially Byrd that became a world champion. I truly believe Ike would have gained at least a belt if it wasn't for his mental health issues and his crimes.

  11. Be interesting while it lasted. Razor's taller with much better reach. I'd take Ike to weather any storm and catch and stop Razor (could be early could be mid rounds). Prime Byrd couldn't avoid Ike, Razor wouldn't have a prayer of staying out of harm for the duration. Ike was a bull and would have taken the kind of shots Razor could throw that dropped lesser men. Ike could have been a real threat to a prime Lewis (far more than either Klitschko - Ike would have crushed them both - Wlad early, Vitali late). [Of course, prime Lewis would have stopped the Klitschkos the same way with even less difficulty because of his height, reach, and skill.]

  12. Zero doubt about that. Would have easily been a titleholder. EASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSILYYYYYYYYYYYY

Doesn't matter, we are talking about razor. I love razor for the way he fought against Tyson, but in the end he lost the fight. Also, Razor was a one handed fighter.

You seem to have some sort of weird hate against a guy who's only issue is that you say he lost in SPARING to Kirk Johnson. So, I dont know how reasonable any debate is with you.

Razor had more one punch ko power than Ike, but he was only a one handed fighter. Ike was more talented and put his punches together very well. I would go with Ike because he was a lot more versatile than Razor, with a better chin. Ike would probably stop Razor in 8 rounds or less.
