No, I personally wouldn't risk it if I was his management. Though a Golota/Haye fight in Chicago may bring in some money and get Haye more noticed in the states, which I think would be good. Every other fight I wouldn't touch if I was Haye, especially against Briggs whose a huge puncher early in fights.

I would have him face the first 3 and tell the 4th one "I'm good but not stupid and I can't afford another KO loss". I would favor Haye against Briggs but not by much, and he would scare me the most.

Haye could probably land fights with the top of the division right now so there's no need to take risks and prove himself against second rate opponents like those. If he's getting his ass KOed might as well be versus guys like Arreola or the Klit brothers so he can make some cash atleast.

No, except for Kali Meehan, Haye would KO him. Golota, he could beat but it's risky, McCline is risky, Briggs is risky.

I'm a big Haye fan, but even a 2 round Briggs can be highly dangerous fighter for anyone. I remember when he fought Lewis in back in 98 or 99, he had him severely rocked and almost down early in the fight, I believe it was 2nd round.

I think noone should ever question Shannon's power, which I would say is right up there with a Tua or Wlad IMO. He did what Brewster couldn't do with 1/10th of the effort in being able to knockout Sergei Lykhovich in the 12th round. It seemed like anything Brigg's landed decent, had him stunned. I would rather see Haye play it safe and take on a Golota or something.

Briggs is dangerous, I agree. He needs to be in shape though.

  12. No because Haye risked getting cut, which would jeopardize any big fight. As much as I dislike Haye, I do not want him to get hurt in a meaningless fight. Let Vitali, Wlad and my boy Kingpin KO his limey ass.
