By the way, i can't believe that the Valero fight got moved from San Antonio to Austin...that stinks!! Austin is not a fight city...oh well, i guess this is for a different thread!!

 

To me Chambers proved himself against Povetkin. He took some good shots so his Chin is fine. Eddie has skills and as long as he uses his movement both head and foot he will be too slick for the plodding flat footed Peter. Chambers did show a little bit of stamina issues against Povetkin but if he can hold up stamina wise I am going with 120-108 Fast Eddie Chambers or even a very late stoppage.

I agree...if Sam Peter doesn't steal rounds by outworking Fast Eddie. His occasional lull in punch output is the only variable that worries me.

He definitely has the skill to easily win this fight though...he did look very impressive against a very skilled fighter in Povetkin.

I think Haye will find out very soon in the fight that Wlad is not Enzo Maccarenelli or some of those other Cruiserweights he was fighting.

I will be shocked if Haye goes past 4.

 

Rico how is Wlad gonna fight with you hanging from his nuts? let go man... i'd like to see you watch a bit more of Haye and be a bit more rational because from your comments it sounds as though you have only seen his fight against Barrett which is no indication of Hayes skillset. Seriously guys... with Hayes power and speed i can't see how any of you can call this a mismatch... especially with Wlads chin. I think Wlad will win this by mid round KO but to say Haye has no chance is just pathetic

Your right he's not... he isn't as fast with either foot or hand as the CW's and has one of the worst punch outputs in world boxing... so yeah... nothing like the Cruisers Haye was fighting...

 

I am saying Haye is an overrated over hyped Glass Jawed Cruiserweight. I have seen plenty of Haye fights. And as I said before this has NOTHING to do with how good or bad Klitschko is.

 

What was it then? torn rotator cuff? dislocated shoulder? Or was it just sheer lazyness? I don't remember 1 single right hand being thrown in anger in that fight and if Wlad fought like that against Haye he would be in trouble.

Haye is moving up in weight and is not going to have all of these advantages you are saying he will. He has stamina and Chin issues not to mention he has not fought anyone close to Klitschko in terms of skill or size.

I know enough and have been around long enough and seen enough fights to see through the hype. That is all Haye has right now. Nothing disgusts me more in Boxing than a hype job and that is what David Haye is.

 

This will be something like Spinks moving up to fight Mike Tyson.
