If Calzaghe wins again it will be `Hopkins is too old, he doesnt have the stamina anymore` (completely ignoring B-Hop`s Pavlik performance.)

If Hopkins wins it will be `I told you Calzaghe was overrated, blah blah blah`

Joe has all to lose with 0 to gain but as a curious boxing fan that loves elite vs elite & likes both guys... I say `lets get it on.`

Just rewatched the fight and scored it 116-111 in favour of Calzaghe...there were 4 rounds in particular I found very difficult to score, I gave 1 to hopkins and the other 3 to Calzaghe. Calzaghe won 5 rounds quite convincingly, with litle dispute, and Hopkins won two, with the 1st a 10-8 round...then 4 were very close to call...but I felt Calzaghe had more of a case for 3 of them and hopkins 1...

Watching it again I just cannot see what Hopkins can do to beat Calzaghe...it would be exactly the same again and a snooze fest again...

Side note - gonna please everyone stop making voting polls private ?

I actually enjoy checking out who voted for who + why on earth anyone would worry about their vote being shown is a mystery to me... unless they dont believe the answer they chose & cant defend it, cant think of any other reason.

    Ps. I voted for Calzaghe.

I'd rather not see this fight. It's lose lose situation for Joe. If he wins then they will say he needs to fight Dawson. If he loses then he loses his 0. If u gonna return fight Dawson if not just let it fo.

no one wants it, the 1st fight stank

    calzaghe don't need the fight

the calzaghe critics wouldn't shut up, they'd just say he beat an old hopkins.

calzaghe is retired and will stay that way. he doesn't give 2 ****s about his critics and what they think.

Never underestimate the lure of money, but I cant see this happening. There is no other reward for Calzaghe but financial.

He wins big, It's because Hop is a year older and the Pavlik fight was his last hurrah.

He wins close, It's the same posistion he is in now except an even older Hop ran him close, even with home advantage. Obvious robbery.

He losses, His undefeated record is gone, and his detractors have a field day. And he plummets in standing like no other has after a defeat to a current P4p'er. An ancient one.

I cant remember a win over a Top P4P'er being met with such negative response as Calzaghe's was, even closer fights like Pac-JMM, so what is there to gain(besides money) for doing it again against an even older version.

Calzaghe wins everytime. Hopkins did everything he could to spoil the fight last time and it still didn't work. The drama queen acting with the low-blows, the constant holding etc etc.

Hopkins is a highly skilled fighter with a massive amount of boxing skills and smarts but he still couldn't beat Calzaghe.

If Hopkins changes his gameplan Calzaghe would destroy Hopkins and then Hopkins leaves himself open to Calzaghes super speed punches.

The only reason he survived last time is because he was closed the whole night and Calzaghe couldn't get through. As soon as Hopkins changes his gameplan and starts throwing more punches he leaves himself open for Calzaghe super SUPER fast hands to cut through.

Utter Bullcrap , Calzaghe knows he got a lucky SD verdict over an ailing Hopkins Adelaide Byrd was the only correct judge.
He's gotta either fight or look like a coward after bragging he was a "Legend Killer" ROFLMAO Man I bet he regrets ever saying that.
Balls in Joes court he's either gotta an up and rematch Nard or have that stain on his legacy forever
