On the other hand, Ike is going to be broke. He'll need money. Boxing is his only chance. Ike's power and chin will be fine at age 35.

Ike never needed boxing skills. If and this is a big IF he's focused, I can see Ibeabuchi vaulting into top ten status, and maybe winning the Valuev / Chagaev belt.

 

I doubt he got paroled, and even if he did it would take him a year to get into fighting shape and another 1-2 years to shake off a decade of ring rust.

He has more than a couple screws loose... Tua really rattled his cranium. I don't think he's even capable of pretending to be "reformed" in front of a parole board. I think he'll be locked for another 10 years at least. His crimes weren't exactly "slap on the wrist" offenses and even though I almost never side with the system, I must say he is probably where he deserves to be. If he ever does get things together I wish the man the best but his boxing career is over.

 

The division is weak right now... It is possible that Ike could crack the top 12 with a few decent wins...... But, I aint betting on him to do so...... "Peter & Tua" are currently in his way......

What happened to Ike Ibeabuchi is a black eye for the US judicial system.
The guy was railroaded Ike suffered for Tyson's misdeeds. Tyson had sex with Desiree ( they said he raped her) Ike never layed a hand on that hookerbut he spent 14 months sedated like a zombie and was then sold down the river by the woman judges maximin 5-30 yrs. I wonder if the 2 women that wrecked Ike's life sleep at night
