Whenever Cotto Vs Berto Happens... Its Going To Be A War & FOTY

i like berto a lot. i think he has potential to be a great welterweight, but needs some time before getting in there with a guy like cotto. berto would definitey give cotto trouble, but he isn't gonna win the fight. cotto by either tko or ud.

 

I don't know Cotto's been punch drunk on several occasions. Berto can't seem to put anyone away. I think this makes for a very interestong match-up. I would like to see Shane take on the winner!!

 

I believe if it is going to happen, it should happen immediately. Berto has the tools to beat Cotto. I thought I heard that Berto would jump at a chance to fight Cotto so jump. He has a chance if he boxes and uses his speed. Stays off the ropes and ties up if he has to. I am still going with Cotto, but Berto does have a chance and it could possibly go to the cards. By the way, I think Berto can beat Q.

If Berto improves some by the time they fight then I might inclined to agree with you, but not now. From what I've seen Berto isn't on Cotto's level right now and he'd be thoroughly smashed by Miguel at this point of his career. Kid had yet to prove to me that he has what it takes to hang with the big boys at 147.

It will be an exciting fight while it lasts, but I don't think it will last long. Cotto will land an accurate shot and get him right out of there.
