When or if Hatton loses to Pacquiao

    Will he still be a big enough name to fight near or towards top level again?Would he still be marketable after 2 losses?

    That depends; if the match is a one sided match favoring pac and then ended in KO then his value will decrease. That for sure. The match was good like JMM and Diaz (let's say that Diaz is Hatton) then he can still be marketable, but he has to work his way up again.

    he will always be marketable. the brits will make sure of that.

    i think so. if pac goes to fight cotto as some reports claim, hatton could easily fight jmm.

    If Hatton losses to PAC.....Hatton is shot, past his prime, couldnt make his weight.

    If there's one thing that I really like about UFC and MMA fans is that the perception of loosing is that it's only negative if it was a bad fight.

    Having 2 losses is NOT the end of the world.

    Do you guys give up on your football code of choice team or baseball/basketball/La Crosse or whatever team sport you watch after they loose more than one or two times?

    It's just insane that having two looses is negative if they're competitive good fights.

    you are absolutly right , losing does not make you suddenly stop being potentialy a good or great fighter just look at JMM. Just as having a zero in the loss margin some how makes you a super fighter the best ever . its hell of a lot more complicated than that

    Good point!
    But I don't think we should compare team sports and fighting sports, because in a team sport a player can be replace or traded but players in any fighting sports cannot. They can switch promoters but I don't thnk that counts.

    if he loses to pac, he'll be LWW no.1 again next year. after pac retires.

    if hatton gets beat up like oscar, he should retire...but i dont see it happening...

    well, they could end up fighting each other in UK if thats the case. That was supposed to be the fight before ODLH took a detour with pac. It will probably still make a lot of money.

    I sure as hell don't see why not. He would only have 2 losses. One against Mayweather and one against Pac. If you can't still be a top level fighter because of that then there isn't much hope for the rest of the boxing world.
