Gomez is decent and a very rare heavy which has talent and speed. Its amazing how far his speed has dropped since beating Turkish guy (forgot) but still quick

 

Gomez doesn't have enough power to worry Wlad.

Wlad will box circles around him and then KO him in 8.

 

Against Wlad, Gomez could probably win. But his match against Vitali I'm not so sure.

 

wlad takes him out earlier than vitali.

 

Well done, Diaz. He knew he'd be slower than Gomez so the best strategy would be to punch with him at the same time.

 

How would Gomez beat Wlad? Wlad has lost in two ways: His opponent being able to absorb huge punishment until Wlad collapsed and by a fast power puncher. Gomez doesn't fit either type. A slick technician never bothered Wlad, Chris Byrd is about as slick as it gets at HW and Wlad had his career - best wins against him.

I expect Gomez to give Vitali a good test, better at least than the Peter fight. Gomez speed and slickness will Vitali some trouble. Vtali will adapt and win a unanimous decision. Gomez does not have enough power to knock Vitali out. There is a chance Vitali stops Gomez late.

 

I dont see him beating either Klitschko, but at least against Wlad he has a chance to tap that weak chin of his. Vitali is probably going to have a field day with Gomez, look for him to end it early.
