I honestly think Prime Jones stands a shot against all of the fighters listed, hes slightly smaller the some, but is a far superior boxer, athlete, better stamina and big enough hitter to cause serious damage, the only fighters I make favourates over him are Charles, Patterson, Dempsey and they are slight favourates and his speed would be a problem for all, he may well outbox Dempsey. He'd run rungs round Tunney, Schmelling, Moore and Walcott. Easily win the early rounds against Marciano and quite possibly hang on for the UD. Langford I see as just being too basic

Seeing is believing with Jones, a complete other level type of talent

While his talent should give him a chance against these fighters I cant justify picking him over any of them individualy.

These guys all proved their status as great heavyweights. Jones chose not to try and there have to be uncertainties about whether he could have.

15 rounds i dont think he beats any of them execpt Schmeling but only if his chin holds up in the later rounds.

my earlier posts are based on over 12

Fair or not, I was curious to see how people thought RJJ stacked up as a heavyweight against heavyweights of a similar weight. What 190 or so pound heavyweights do you think he would beat?

I beleve that speed>skill>strength/power. However one good shot can end a fight.
Jones greatest weekness was his chin. I don't conseder a lack of triditinol boxing skills a weekness for someone as fast as Jones was. If any of these fights were to go to tHe score cards I see Jones wining them all comfortabily. I can however see him geting knocked out by the likes of Jack Dempsey, Sam Langford and Rocky Marciano. However his speed might prevent that from happening.
