Maccarinelli joins the que for a shot at Adamek

Im just sayin Enzo Mac is garbage and if he wants a shot he should at least beat someone good prior to getting one.

If anything guys like USS Cunnigham deserve a rematch rather than feeding Enzo one, who has done squat as of late.

Anyways Steve vs Braithewaite will be a IBF eliminator anyways.

Enzo should stick to his lame WBO cause I highly doubt he will put any effort on good opponents.

How does Banks warrant a shot but Enzo doesn't? Who does warrant a shot? Cunningham again? Then what?

 

Enzo Mac would have to do something really big to get a fight.

Adamek's recognized by Ring mag, he's got Hopkins calling him out, he's had one awesome rivalry (Briggs), another one that might get finished (Cunningham). He's stopped the former undisputed cruiser champ Bell, at 2 weights he destroyed a European champ (Ulrich) and Kronk puncher (Banks) in his FIRST title defense.

That said Macca has 2 tough opponents lined up Afolobi and Ramirez.

Ramirez would be a great foe for Adamek. He walked through the nastiest shots of Alexeev and stopped the big prospect late.

Enzo should concentrate on Afolobi and Ramirez. I'm sure he is. His fans should do the same.

 

Adamek wanted to stay busy and not turn like a Don King fighter, like he was when he was with King.

Adamek didn't have much of a choice than Banks anyways....

Johnathan Banks wasn't even suppose to fight him....Adamek wanted to get the number 1 contender out of the way, but since number 1 IBF BJ Flores said no, Wayne Braithwaite said no, USS said he didn't want a immediate rematch so Banks was the only one who had the balls and accepted the title shot.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Fighting a top undefeated puncher in a voluntary defence.

But, when your a world champion in your division and you defend your title against guys like Bobby Gunn , than that's pretty damn pathetic. Least Adamek is putting a effort into fighting the best, unlike Enzo.

 

Do you think that Braithwaite deserves a shot? He was beaten pretty easily by Enzo, who only had one good hand. I don't rate Enzo - just want to hear your views.

 

And whos gonna pay for this fight? Adamek has money on his mind now , and lookin for an american star like b hop (hollyfield?) ,so This fight wont happen soon ,

also as i heard enzo has contracted fight in this month with some unknown "Afolabi" for wbo belt .

 

It will be the hardest fight of Enzo Mac's career but I would edge him. Also on the Banks - Adamek fight I knew Adamek would k.o. him and exspose him. Banks was hype, this is the real reason he didn't fight Enzo Mac, not injury! Enzo would of made him look like a novice, trust me on this.

Also if Haye was still in the cruiser division imagine how exiting it would be now?! He left at a crap time.:deal

Just like at light heavyweight Adamek made a dangerous 1st defense. As you say, Enzo Mac doesn't take risks if he doesn't have to. Gunn, Azzaoui - laughable opponents for a "world champion". Banks would have been Enzo's 2nd biggest fight. For Adamek it was sort of a routine, moderately dangerous quickie.

 

I agree in term of quality of opponets there is a level difference
between Adamek and Maccarinelli, I don't think however that
this automatically means Macca belongs to the garbage can.
If your think more clearly Macca just fought Haye (best cruiser
at that time) and now he want a shot at Adamek (best cruiser now)
so he should not be bashed out for choosing ONLY weak competition.
