I say Trinidad KO in 8. Trinidad had a deceptive jab and was quick. He would have been knocked down but that is when most Trinidad fights really started.

I would have to say right now Pavlik destroys Tito, but in their primes Tito hands pavlik his ass.

And AA would just be a bad match-up stylistically for Trinidad as the current AA would KO him (prime) in the late rounds...

I dont think so, AA biggest win to date is his knock out win over Miranda in their rematch, but lets be honest here Miranda doesnt have the same skill set as Tito Trinidad he is flat footed Doesnt use a good jab and kinda pushes his shots.

Titos shots are snappy and crisp and Tito has fought elite fighters and beat them, AA has not, so I say Prime Tito Trinidad knocks out AA late

AA is so much bigger and takes a punch, good defense and chin - though, he hasn't fought the top-notch opposition Tito had fought, Trinidad still has his biggest wins at Welterweight...I am talking about styles, not a legacy match-up...

He didnt do bad at Jr Middleweight nor at Middleweight neither, and he was decent in his last fight with Jones even though he was dropped twice. Yes AA has a solid chin but we dont really know how solid, Miranda hasnt beat any real top fighter himself so its hard to say.

I would have to favor Tito just based on his experience in big fights. not saying AA would for sure lose but his chances do not look at good to me.

Fair point regarding to Tito's experience...but what would you say if AA would get to fight the current version of Trinidad at 166 instead of Tito vs. Pavlik?

Correction - AA has a great chin and a huge punch. He'll catch most of Tito's offensive attempts on his gloves, just like Roy Jones and Winky Wright did, and whatever gets through, i'm pretty sure Abraham takes it and comes back with his own hayemakers. As you say, he's just too big and strong.

The current version he beats, nobody can argue that, but Tito will be a live guy and if AA takes him light, AA will hit the deck. but right now AA would beat him I think Tito is just shot.

So a fight vs. either Pavlik or Abraham would be meaningless, I guess, we agree... ;)

I mean it is in reality, But the way Boxing works is sometimes the beating an old legand such as Trinidad opens doors for future opportunitys, it sux but that is the game, is Trinidad fighting Pavlik or something? why the Tito Pavlik talk?

I think threadstarter meant prime for prime, obviously Trinidad is shot and Pavlik would have no problem dispatching him in his current state.
