heard teddy atlas saying that tonight...damn that would be a good fight. i would like to say cotto but clottey is strong. if clottey can keep cotto moving backwards like margo did then i think he can take it. if not than cotto takes it.

Clottey has a good defensive guard and i'm sure that he's all about getting the chance to fight an elite fighter ...

I just hope that Clottey's hands can hold up !!

I don't think the Margarito fight was that bad on Cotto ... considering what is going on with Margarito right now ... even if Margarito really beat him straight up ... Cotto got his confidence back beating Jennings and hearing about the "loaded gloves" incident Margarito had.

In Cotto's mind, he probably still has the mindset of an undefeated fighter --

If Cotto believes that Margo cheated against him then in his mind he might very well feel as though he's undefeated and probably doesn't care what his record shows.

    Agreed ....

and he got the perfect confidence booster in Michael Jennings ...

I don't think that will give him the edge against a rugged fighter like Clottey but ... he probably won't think back to the night when he fought Margarito.

Yeah and I bet that's why you hate on him so much. I wonder how your adoration for PBF would hold up if he were to unretire only to lose in his comeback fight?

    Keeping your 0 is overrated.
Besides Cotto is a titleholder now while Margo is fighting bartenders in Tijuana.
Im guessing Cotto ended up in a better position than Margo....

if pbf lost his comeback fight it would be worse than most fighters who lost their "0" b/c you know he would only take a fight he is supposed to win but that could generate a lot of money at the same time. thats why hes probably praying for ricky to win v. pac....he won't take a chance on any top ww.

If he unretired and came back and loss, he would be a

, and he would be in the category of almost every other fighter in the history of the sport, he would have a "L". Even if he unretires, I wouldn't be to pleased with him, he's retired twice already, don't tell me he's gonna pull this $hit again. And on top of that, he'll be f_cking up his "going out in my prime with the perfect win" status. I don't wanna see PBF turn out to be another RJJ.

I don't think keeping you "0" is overrated ... its a badge of honor that not many fighters get to keep. It give you an sense of invicibility and thats something that fighter strive for more than anything during their careers.

The mentality of an undefeated fighter is different from that of a person who has lost ... once you lose - you aquire a taste for losing and you accept defeat no matter how it comes and you're more likely to capitalize off of your mistakes, depending on how you lose.
