Frank Warren blames rowdy Irish folk for the booing of DeGale.

In his article in the Sun today he says:

"They (the Olympians) looked great, although they were all expected to win. The only downside was some booing for DeGale - but there were a lot of Irish fans in the crowd and they still remember James beating Darren Sutherland at the Olympics.":think

Nothing to do with the **** poor performance then?

they will never ever meet in the pro's.

i'll be suprised to see degale in with any of his immediate domestic rivals

  5. It may have been the Irish fans...... although i never really belive what Warren says, the booing was a bit premature imo, it started at the start of the 3rd and i didn't see much wrong in his first 6 mins of pro boxing

mmmm blame the irish yeah that sounds convincing, ignoring the fact that they didnt boo billy saunders or frankie gavin, nothing to do with the fact that deGale looked by far the worst...called by the ref for his terrible jab and one close up with the guy pinned on the ropes the pitter patter was hilarious

The article from Frank Warren central office was also funny, saying how much the olympians want to fight in belfast, bull**** the situation is

BJ Saunders- southpaw exciting good pop good attitude

Gavin- good pro atitude, body punching easy to like

DeFail- bad attitude, thinking he is already destined to win world title, doesnt look like hes changed his style at all = booo

if they go to belfast now DeGale will be booed cause it will be funny

if the irish did boo it was probably due to the fact that degale is too cocky for his own good and they took a disliking to him similar to all the english folk who have taken a disliking to the chap

I always thought that if you had a personal dislike of a sportsman you would boo them from the start.

Just watch any match of Gary Neville's career

In terms of him meeting Sutherland, don't think so......... the Irishman can actually crack an egg.

I really cant stand DeGale, he's a little ****, he does not have a likeable attitude and did not manage to stop a journey man who has been stopped many times before that is why he was booed.

he mentioned it on bunceys hour .

also degale set himself up for a fall when he suggested it would be an easy nights work and would be out of there early . if he just kept his head down no one would be waiting for him to fall instead of all the shight talk . its the same with khan sayin he wanted to be the youngest british world champion and then everyone waits for him to **** up because of his arrogance

Blame it on us Irish. Typical english ****s looking for something to blame when something goes wrong DeGale got booed because he was ****. People payed good money to go see that show. The others werent booed because they entertained and actually boxed. That **** DeGale was doing you wouldnt see a novice amateur do that ****ing fanny-tappin and slappin like a *****. Cant wait to see the arrogant **** knocked out.
