B-Hop and Marquez are Golden Boy boxers. What can you expect him to say given the fact that he was proven dead wrong when he predicted a brutal win by dela Hoya over Pac. This quote is familiar: "If anyone does believe in me, you can see me outside." :rofl :rofl :rofl

 

For fighting the best in weight division unimaginable for JMM himself, Pac is still #1.

 

This is a prime example of why *******s should not been conversating with true boxing fans.

Even if you do not consider Casamayor elite anymore, to use the logic you just used to try to say Morales was elite is plain *******ed.

I'll give you an example as to why age cannot be taken into consideration some times.

Hopkins was 38 years old and seemed as if he was in his prime.

Vargas was 27 years old and was completely spent.

It's that easy. You judge a fighter based on his prime performance compared to his current performances. It's really that simple my little *******.

i feel pac is still p4p no.1 but marquez is not that far behind, perhaps one more great fight for marquez. But he'll be far behind again if pac puts on a masterful performance and beats hatton

 

one great fight w/ a certified elite fighter. for me, an elite fighter should be in the top 12 p4p. both casa and j. diaz certainly weren't in the top 12 p4p when they fought jmm. jmm has so far only defeated an elite fighter once (barrera - p4p #6). on the other hand, pac has defeated elite fighters in 4-5 occasions already : barrera 1 (p4p #3), morales 2 (p4p #6), morales 3 (p4p #9), jmm 2 (p4p #3), and MAYBE sasakul (around p4p #11-12 at that time). if pac ends up defeating hatton [p4p #8], that will be his 5th or 6th victory against an elite fighter.

 

to uliuli's logic. all fights should be closed. because if there is a one sided fight the losing fighter is shot. Casa is still elite bec he fought a close one with jmm. And the morales2 and 3 is shot bec he got a one sided beatdown.

 

Don't forget that Marquez also fights for GoldenBoy, so don't really expect Hopkins to praise Pacquiao(who beat their guy) instead.

 

I still think they were right about the JMM fight, but thats just my opinion as oppose to the actual result :-(
