Boxrec.com have bernard hopkins as their no1 P4P how can they even consider him they have JMM at 2nd and paquiao at 5th and as the number 1 light welter and looking down the list it gets even stranger no 4 Chad dawson no 12 wladamir klitchko no15 vitali klitchko no 17 arthur abraham no 19 felix strum 25 Lucian Bute anyone got any idea what their logic is behind these choices
Never take notice of boxrec rankings. They use some computerised formula for them and it always comes out wrong. Boxrec is excellent for schedules and fighter records but there rankings are shite.
Here they are 1 Bernard Hopkins light heavyweight 2 Juan Manuel Marquez lightweight 3 Vic Darchinyan super flyweight 4 Chad Dawson light heavyweight 5 Manny Pacquiao light welterweight 6 Shane Mosley welterweight 7 Kelly Pavlik middleweight 8 Ricky Hatton light welterweight 9 Denkaosan Kaovichit flyweight 10 Daisuke Naito flyweight 11 Nonito Donaire flyweight 12 Wladimir Klitschko heavyweight 13 Celestino Caballero super bantamweight 14 Hozumi Hasegawa bantamweight 15 Vitali Klitschko heavyweight 16 Ulises Solis light flyweight 17 Arthur Abraham middleweight 18 Edgar Sosa light flyweight 19 Felix Sturm middleweight 20 Omar Andres Narvaez flyweight 21 Tomasz Adamek cruiserweight 22 Pongsaklek Wonjongkam flyweight 23 Chris John featherweight 24 Alexander Munoz super flyweight 25 Lucian Bute super middleweight
pac should be higher...the reason he's ranked quite low is he seldom fight for a title fight which merit more points
Padded record of summat like 40-1. KO'd a Japanese champ in his last fight to win a title. Was regarded as a big upset, yet boxrec have him as the 9th best boxer on the planet . I'd never heard of him until his last fight.
of course, but real talk, Boxrec never fails to have the worst lists of all time......there's just so much wrong with it, i wouldn't even no where to start
