Zuniga won't be able to dealt with Bute's jab. That's a big thing from Bute arsenal, and Zuniga will probably eat a lot of right hook, he has a tendacy to drop his left hand. Not good against a quick gunner like Bute.

Was he not supposed to travel from New Jersey to Montreal this weekend?:think

And what is that "clothing in the colours of the Romanian flag" business all about?:huh

Does that mean that they're showing the fight in Romania, for a change? :think

If you ask me, the Romanians don't deserve Bute one bit.

He should certainly not pander to them.

I'd wear the Montreal/Quebec/Canadian colours, if I were Bute!

    How so??
    Isnt he very popular there?

Dorin was jealous of all the fame he had over there?

Usually, Bute has all the colours! Romanian, Québec, Canada. At least a flag of each country. I wish to Romanian fans to be able to see the fight.

It wasn't Romania who made Bute...it was the good people of Montreal/Quebec/Canada. Bute is very well known in Romania, but he's not as loved as he is in Montreal, probably because people there don't get to see him live/don't get to see his fights on TV.

If I were Bute, I'd go with my true fans...the people who love me passionately...and those ain't the Romanian fans from Romania.:bart

Romania took care of Bute's amateur career, Quebec of his pro career. There's enough of Lucian for both countries. :yep

    You don't like it, but it's true!:yep

Go on rds.ca/boxe and see how Bute's true fans feel about him...and then compare that to how Romanian Bute fans on prosport or GSP feel about Bute...it's a huge, huge difference! :deal

Well, Zuniga did drop Pavlik in the first round, but it was more a question of stance and the way his feet were with a BOMB from Zuniga. A demi second later, Pavlik was up, and began to destruct Zuniga

To me this is not about countries or nationality and who has more of a claim on him. To me this is about how fans feel about him. Clearly, by far his best/most passionate/most knowledgeable fans of Bute are Canadian fans from Montreal. It's not even close! If those were my fans, then I'd care about THEM more than anyone else! It's as simple as that! Nothing to do with where I was from, how I felt about my country of origin or what not. :good

Yeah, there is a difference.....the language. In rest I see support from everybody.Obviously there always will be doubters all the time but they pale infront of the rest.
Go on Bute's site on his forum and see the messages there.
