this whole thread has turned into fanboy ****. ffs.
this whole thread is based on whether the tactics that ricky used against pbf would be effective against manny. not many people have answered that!

He did throw a power shot. Just cause it didn't land does not mean he didn't throw it. And yes intending to committ a fould can warrant a point deduction if it is blatant and and dirty enough. Imagine a fighter threw a spinning back kick at another fighters head but missed. DOn't you think a point deduction would be in order? Tyson was penalized for attempting to break an arm, he didn't actually break it.

He blatently swung at the back of Mayweathers head, he was looking at the back of his head before he starting throwing.

    A good point deduction.

He never turned his back, he turned his shoulder. Big ass difference. You are too caught up on that eurofaggy video.

Mayweather didn't even turn his back there. He was rolling with the first punch Hatton threw, then Hatton pushed him and made him completely turn around.

But please make a video and show me how many times Mayweather ducked below the waist.

you're right, my fault. I do think the tactics ricky used against Mayweather can be effective against Manny. I dont recall Manny actually ever being pressured that way and having a rough and tumble fight on the inside. If Hatton can accomplish that and manage to pick off some shots like he did against Mayweather he's got a good chance.

i'm talking about during the fight generally he was turning away and ducking throughout. and I've got better things to do than make you videos go watch it again if you don't believe me.

So Hatton blatently trying to rabbit punch with a full force punch is as equal to Mayweather ducking below the waste once?

I saw his head below the waist but you must remember the camera is higher than the fighters. Floyds back was even with Rickys belt line.

    He was legally ducking.
