You'd be surprised how many great fighters have quit on their stools.

Well we can start with JCC, ODLH, Vitali Klitshko and Sam Peter to name a few off the bat.

JCC and HOYA gets a pass because they were old and beaten...

Vitali's shoulder i think it was couldnt be used so he could... Alot of other fighters would have continued in that situation...

Yup Sam Peter is a quitter.

Did Vitali really quit on his stool? He must've been facing a ferocious puncher to pull a bum move like that. I know Rico Spadafora is a fan of the big Klit, maybe he can take a few minutes away from his Glass Jaw threads to explain what happened?

He hurt his shoulder against Chris Byrd and quit in the corner.

My point was that a lot of great fighters have "quit". People act like it's some sort of epic fail when fighters admit that they don't have enough to win and don't want to take any more punishment.

Golota, JCC, DLH, Peter, Liston, Freitas. Cotto didn't quit on the stool but he quit.

Vitali quit because of a shoulder injury not because he was being beaten.

True but there are true warriors like Jesus Chavez who gave Morales hell of a 12 round fight with one arm.
