Excellent docu on BBC Ni about John Breen and his history with loads of fighters he trained in the past, dave mcauley sean hodgkinson, locker room footage from rogan/skelton, decent show well put together http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/northern_ireland/season_ticket/7928092.stm
Just watched, I KNEW it would be quality. Really liked that flyweight guy, Dave the boy (excuse ma typing , getting buzzed for tonight)talking of hating the gym and he has great faculties considering how many times he mentioned he got floored etc I will be checking him out more too. I knew of Breen from watching Magee, and the stories around him. Anyways, that really made my afternoon watching this. Beautiful Thanks again :good
quality bit at the end with rogan talking to the doc about getting steaming that night wonder if fighters from england will start going over to Breen again with the publicity hes getting from rogan mccloskey haughian andy murray and if neil sinclair will ever be good again
Dave Boy had a cracking career. Short and sweet. 24 ish fights and nearly half of them were for titles. Game lad, great heart, good power, decent chin. Never afraid to step up and take on a challenge. I have his career boxset on dvd. Very entertaining. He's not the best commentator these days though atsch
Really enjoyed that, the gyms a Shithole and Hot, but the people in it are Diamonds. Well done John Breen.
