The belting Jess Willard took from Dempsey.... the majority of punches absorbed, were taken in a defenseless fashion. Full credit to him for getting of the chair to face rounds 2 & 3....

Tyson against Douglas, Holyfield, & Lewis.

    Lacy versus Calzaghe.

Gatti in every fight he ever got his ass kicked in.

Ward against Gatti II. Micky had no legs from the 2nd round on.

...and you could go on, and on, and on. Boxing has had more than it's share of one-sided ass whoopings.

He wasn't "taking his beating like a man". He was in the fight to win it and he was winning it. What the hell do you want him to do, quit while he is up on the cards?

    Bob Foster vs. Ali.

Foster got put down seven times in that fight.

Ali outweighed him by 40 lbs.

Bob Foster was all man. Still is.
