yeah tonight sucked.... it was a total 20 minutes...

i mean the matchups & everything was good but they all ended quick as hell

1 ended 1st round on a head but
1 ended 1st roudn on a quick call
the other went 6 rounds but i think everyone wanted to see julio get ktfo..

    oh well

I feel the same way. Every fight was a let down.

But at least Kirkland turned out to have a sturdy chin. He should be in plenty more exciting fights in the future.

Just said the same thing over on the other thread. Here we had a ND because of a cut, a quick stoppage in a quick fight, and a decent fight that had a very anti-climactic corner stoppage.

Very lame night for HBO. Thing is I had an eerie feeling this might happen tonight.

Im watching the UFC card at the same time and once again I know which one I prefer.

I only started watching ufc this year aswell. Boxing is in trouble. Everyone knows it deep down, its a very weird feeling especially with Max Kellermans weird ass speech at the end almost confirming that boxing was getting screwed

Yeah, the only good thing is Ortiz and Kirkland once again showed they're in there for real. We'll defo see them in some great fights in the future.

I been waiting for this fight night patiently. Arnaoutis got stopped.:fire The Ghost quit and the Julio fight ended in less than stunning fashion.

You could easily say the same thing about UFC on the nights when they go head to head with Boxing and they end up having lackluster cards, i.e UFC 93 which went head to head (tape delayed at least) with Berto-Collazo. Regardless, the UFC and Boxing appeal to two totally different audiences.

With exception of the first fight, I disagree.

Pretty good card and great action for an evening.

I'll watch the worst night of boxing over the best ufc card anyday. Different fanbase, and how can you say boxing is in trouble after the Marquez and Diaz fight last week?
