Squat thrusts and burpees are good for conditioning

My workout at the moment is centered around building muscle mass and remaining lean - reducing overall bodyfat percentage. I sometimes worry that doing circuits will have me burning muscle as my heart rate is well out of my fat burning zone.....

Thats why you have a proper diet and take protein and glutamine supplaments if you need them. Thats the whole point of doing the circuit so i can get my heart rate through the roof and condition my body aswell. Im not looking at bulking up, just gaining some lean muscle but mainly strength, cut some body fat and mainly fitness for when i fight.

Yeah, this was more for my personal gains / goals. Was after a bit of feedback myself really.

My personal trainer swears by them for increasing fitness. I quite enjoyed them but haven't been for a few weeks now because I'm not convinced they are helping me achieve my goal.

Fair enough, we obviously have different goals, maybe circuit work isnt suited to what you want to achieve. I definatly know they will help me achieve my goals..I just need to find the best exercises for a overall body strength and conditioning routine.

Some advanced boxercise classes are really good. They ran them at my old gym and my fitness levels were through the roof whilst I was doing them.

I was thinking about looking into a boxercise for fitness. My gym is strictly just boxing, pretty much only trains fighters. Ive heard those boxercise are good for getting you fit. I might have a look into it.
